Hamburg Ballet Artistic Director John Neumeier’s sophisticated interpretation of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid delves into the deeper themes of conflicted love and loss. This sophisticated, contemporary production features striking costumes and scenery and an originally commissioned score by Russian composer Lera Auerbach.
