This Year's Honorees
During the dinner portion of the gala, Horizons will honor actorGeorge Takei with the 2011 Visionary Award. Best known for his role as Mr. Sulu on Star Trek, he has been deeply involved in civic affairs throughout his life, including LGBT rights, politics, and Japan-United States relations. The evening will also recognize Google with the Cornerstone Award for its outstanding work on behalf of the LGBT community and its LGBT employees, helping set news standards for corporate responsibility.
