The brilliant “Sharon McNight” performs “The First 30 Years – From Moose Hall to Carnegie Hall” Feinstein’s Jan 16,17

AND NOW A BRIEF MESSAGE FROM MS. SHARON McNIGHT:

Some of you may remember the San Francisco gin joints: Chez Jacques, Fanny’s, Trinity Place, Rainbow Cattle Company, the Woods, Fife’s, Drums, and a train station in Oakland whose name escapes me.

Music is what gives us memories, and the longer a song has existed in our lives, the more memories we have of it.

Ironically, on Thursday, January 16 and Friday, January 17th at 8:00 p.m., I will be making my San Francisco debut at Feinstein’s at the Nikko Hotel in a show called The First Thirty Years – From Moose Hall to Carnegie Hall (and all the gin joints in between).

If you plan on attending the show at Feinstein’s and have a song that rang your bell back in the day, back then or back when, email me its name by January 14 and I will try to:

1) find the chart which may have been on a napkin,
2) remember the lyrics, and
3) get back to you with the results.

To start the year on the right note, Mademoiselle Joan Edgar will be joining me at the piano, and if you ask for a Jacques Brel song, I’ll know you’ve never seen my show.

Happy 2014!!
Sharon

Tickets for the show range in price from $25-$35 and are available now by calling 866-663-1063 or visiting ticketweb.com.
